Best Workout for Your Zodiac Sign

Aries – Running. Rowing. Boxing. Anything that is all about your individual ability and that helps the Aries personality to burn off their excess energy and keep any anger or difficult emotions from building up. Bonus if it can be playful or something they can “win” whether it’s a 5K or a friendly competition for time per mile with a friend or local running club. Avoid things that require a lot of equipment. Keep it simple.
Taurus – Yoga. A mind-body workout that allows Taurus to move at their own pace is just the thing. The ability to move slowly, sensually and be fully embodied is perfect. Avoid things that make them feel awkward or unskilled – they don’t want to feel like a bull in a china shop.
Gemini – Circuit Training. The Gemini needs variety and quickly moving from station to station keeps the mind busy while the body is challenged to adapt. Bonus if you can find a circuit at a local park with a friend. Avoid anything monotonous, like running or walking.
Cancer – Swimming. This water-ruled sign can feel most at home in the water. Swimming has the right mix of being a good workout but also a gentle, soothing atmosphere. Avoid competitive environments, or anything that makes them overheat.
Leo – Personal Trainer at a Gym. Hopefully with mirrors and a juice bar. Leo thrives with attention, and that one-on-one personal touch of a trainer inspires them to work their form and achieve their workout goals. A glance and a flex in the mirror helps too. Avoid things that make them feel like they are just another face in the crowd.
Virgo – Cycling. Virgo loves a bit of geeking out over equipment, so let them select the mountain biking gear or the perfect stationary bike. Be sure to have the Garmin to track the heart rate, pace and mileage so they can measure their progress. Avoid team activities, they will want to correct everyone.
Libra – Barre. A toning working that focuses on ballet-type moves is perfect for the never-let-them-see-you-sweat Libra. Super effective, repetitive movements that build sleek strength. Avoid rough and tumble sports or competitive workouts. They’ll want to meet a friend for lunch afterward.
Scorpio – Martial Arts. Or Cross-Fit. Scorpio loves to vibe quiet strength, and any martial arts training will be a good fit for their personality. They are more about functional fitness than adhering to some routine work out program. Avoid glamourous environments; Scorpio doesn’t need the show.
Sagittarius – Hiking. Sagittarius wants an adventure, not a boring trip to the gym, so strap on the hiking boots and hit the local trails. No mountains nearby? Walk a new pathway through the city or rollerskate through the park. Avoid boring repetitive exercise with rules like tennis.
Capricorn – Weightlifting. The ability to see measurable improvement, goal-stalk and throw around metal has a big appeal for the Capricorn personality. Select high quality equipment. Avoid cheap imitations or substandard machines; Capricorn wants the real deal.
Aquarius – Pilates. This science-based low-impact workout appeals to the logic of the Aquarius and is just different enough to pique their interest. They can also do it either alone or in a group, which is important because they need their personal space. If they’re feeling social, a playful game of softball or volleyball might be enjoyable. Avoid activities that are adversarial.
Pisces – Walking. Pisces can easily become ungrounded, so walking is a great way for them to plant their feet on the Earth. The low-impact repetitive movement helps them to quiet their mind and allow inspiration to flow. A beach walk would be the best. They should avoid large group activities or environments where people are making a lot of noise.
