May 2023 Planetary Energy Forecast

A challenging month ahead. This month we are experiencing the beginning of Pluto square to the Nodes that was kicked off strongly with last month’s eclipse.

The whole month May we are still in the eclipse zone; and there are some profound long-range squares taking place; stay adaptable.

May 1, Pluto Stationary Rx at zero degrees 21.8 minutes of Aquarius; take note of the symbolic events of the day in your world and in the collective. Sun conjunct Mercury in Taurus; the energy to communicate gets burned up and then a boost. Very strong energy day, stay grounded.

May 2, Libra Moon trine Pluto in Aquarius; ability to find inner balance after the heavy energy of yesterday. Venus begins to square Neptune; keep you head on straight, things related to money, glamour, love could be confusing or unclear.

May 3, Libra Moon square Mars in Cancer; make sure you say NO when you mean it! Good boundaries are important.

May 4, Venus in Gemini exact square Neptune in Pisces; especially with the eclipse energy be cautious and not over-reactive. Deal with facts; beware illusion, delusion. Libra Moon trine Venus in Gemini which will lend some aid; Moon opposes Jupiter in Aries so could lend an argumentative vibe; shift into Scorpio and square to Pluto and trine to Saturn. That’s a lot. These few days are a LOT. Don’t overschedule your life.

May 5, Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 14° 58’ Scorpio at 1:34 pm. This Full Moon also conjuncts both Mercury and Uranus. Shocking events; sudden reversals. Wild times with financial markets and values. Whew! Venus in Gemini sextile Jupiter in Aries which helps, but Neptune still squaring Venus, so no sudden or radical decisions.

May 6, Moon void from 10:38 am to 4:04 pm; Moon in Scorpio trine Mars in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces. Moon in Sagittarius sextile Pluto in Aquarius. Lovely day for intuition.

May 7, Venus into Cancer; she becomes more sensitive, more home-oriented and more nurturing. Sagittarius Moon squares Saturn in Pisces; watch emotions triggering your mouth.

May 8, Moon void from 4:28 pm to 7:33 pm EST. Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces; trines Jupiter in Aries; moves into Capricorn and opposes Venus in Cancer. Rollercoaster emotions, stay grounded, watch out for anger.

May 9, Moon in Capricorn sextiles Saturn in Pisces; trines Mercury in Taurus; merging of intuition and your brain. Sun and Uranus meet in Taurus; shocking events, sudden downloads, technology going awry. The Nodes flip to 3 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio; pick up a lovely trine and sextile to Venus, helpful with the Pluto/Nodal square picking up steam.

May 10, Huge Capricorn Moon day. It trines Uranus and the Sun; opposes Mars in Cancer; sextiles Neptune in Pisces; squares Jupiter in Aries; voids from 7:52 pm to 10:06 pm and then shifts into Aquarius and touches Pluto. Whew. Again, stay grounded; because it’s an Earth sign use time in nature to help you.

May 11, Pluto/Neptune sextile until mid-October; this can be very inspired solutions, tap into inspiration for solutions. Pluto square Jupiter till early June; excesses will not be tolerated. Aquarius Moon squares Mercury in Taurus, detachment good, indifference not good.

May 12, Mercury in Taurus sextile Saturn in Pisces and Venus in Cancer inspired solutions grounded in reality. Aquarius Moon squares Uranus and Sun in Taurus which adds some edge; sextiles Jupiter in Aries.

May 13, Venus in Cancer trine Saturn in Pisces; add water for inspiration. Pisces Moon sextile Mercury in Taurus, touches Saturn and trines Venus in Cancer. Very intuitive, artistic day.

May 14, Mercury Stationary Direct at 5 degrees of Taurus; note the symbols. Active Pisces Moon sextiles Uranus and the Sun; trines Mars in Cancer and conjuncts Neptune. More intuitive hits, just don’t get lost in the fog.

May 15, Mars in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces; pursue your passions. Aries Moon sextiles Pluto in Aquarius and squares Venus in Cancer; watch for anger or immaturity.

May 16, Jupiter into Taurus! For the first time in 12 years. This will slow down some of the heat of Jupiter roaring through Aries. Celebrate Earthly pleasures; just not to excess. Mars begins to pick up a square to Pluto.

May 17, Jupiter in Taurus squares Pluto in Aquarius this could be tense and could bring shortages of food, etc. Moon at the end of Aries squares Mars in Cancer; then moves into Taurus and touches Jupiter, squares Pluto, touches Mercury and sextiles Saturn in Pisces. That’s a lot of energy, so watch anger, upset.

May 18, Sun in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces; inspiration. Moon in Taurus sextiles Venus in Cancer and conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. Massage Moon! But that contact with Uranus could bring an urge to break bonds.

May 19, New Moon at 28° 25’ Taurus at 11:53 am. Mercury in Taurus sextile Saturn in Pisces. Moon in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces and Mars in Cancer; trines Pluto in Aquarius. Finally, a “good” manifestation Moon!” Big Taurus activation, know where that is in your chart.

May 20, Mars roars into Leo; immediately comes into precise opposition to Pluto in Aquarius; this energy is in place from May 16-26. Take note of the symbols and where you will need to be taking charge in your own life; stay in your power. Jupiter North Node in Taurus conjunction at 1 to 3 degrees precise conjunction both at 3 degrees on May 30-June 3; huge karmic shifts as the Nodes finish their journey through these signs. North Node and Jupiter together can be explosive desire energy and a battle for resources.

May 21, Sun moves into Gemini; Happy Solar Return Gemini friends; twin powers, activate! Moon void from 6:12 pm EST to 11:28 pm EST. Sun in Gemini trines to Pluto in Aquarius which will lend some aid and multiple possibilities. Gemini Moon squares Neptune in Pisces, watch out for gossip.

May 22, Sun in Gemini sextiles Mars in Leo; brings some optimism and ideas on how to enjoy yourself. Be playful! Cancer Moon sextiles Jupiter and Mercury, trines Saturn in Pisces.  Hopefully this will help with that big square in the sky between the Nodes, Mars and Pluto.

May 23, Mars in Leo precisely squares Jupiter in Taurus; moderation is your friend. Watch any attention-seeking behaviors. Cancer Moon conjuncts Venus, sextiles Uranus; big feels.

May 24, Cancer Moon trines to Neptune in Pisces; voids from 5:12 am to 10:35 am EST and then shifts into Leo to oppose Pluto, Square Jupiter, conjunct Mars and sextile the Sun. Leo area of the chart is getting hit hard.

May 25. Leo Moon square Mercury in Taurus; don’t let your pride trip you up.

May 26, Venus in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus; for insights, take a shower or go for a swim. Leo Moon comes together with Mars and squares Uranus; still in this larger square configuration; clashes between the Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio areas of life.

May 27, Challenging day; both Moon in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces square the Gemini Sun while they oppose each other. Virgo Moon trines Jupiter and Mercury in Taurus. Practical ideas only.

May 28, Sun in Gemini still squares Saturn in Pisces; you’ll feel it for a few days before and possibly the rest of the month. Don’t just talk about it, take action. Virgo Moon trines Uranus and sextiles Venus in Gemini. Deep clean your place or spreadsheet the problem for insights.

May 29, Virgo Moon opposes Neptune in Pisces and voids at 5:46 am; moves into Libra at 10:41 am and trines Pluto in Aqua, sextiles Mars in Leo. A shift from critical eye to sociability and success.

May 30, Libra Moon trines Sun in Gemini; nice for social experiences. Jupiter still glued to the North Node in Taurus, opposing the South Node in Scorpio. Difficult energy.

May 31, Libra Moon squares Venus in Gemini and then voids from 10:53 am to 7:45 pm. Moves into Scorpio and squares Pluto in Aquarius. Beware passive aggressive behavior.
