Most Romantic Zodiac Signs
I took a hot minute to ponder what signs are the most romantic of the Zodiac. These are mine, in order from most to least — what has been your experience? Comment below!
1. Taurus. Romance is definitely something that can be different for each sign. Sensual Taurus would love the classic tools of romance – roses, chocolates and jewelry. Things that taste good, smell good and feel good. Throw in a sensual massage and your Taurus is feeling loved and desired.
2. Cancer. Cancer is a sign that loves nostalgia, nurturing and tradition. I would guess that the highest percentage of Zodiac signs that keep the Hallmark channel cranking out their happy-ending movies are Cancers (and maybe Pisces). Sweep them off their feet by remembering their favorite restaurant or foods, a favorite poem or book, or frame up a special photo from their past. This is a sign that would like a hand-written card or note.
3. Leo. Leo loves the drama of romance. They want the public declaration of love, the bottle of champagne delivered to the table, the flowers delivered to their office. Shower them with high-quality gifts that they can show off to their friends and family. These outer declarations of love mean as much as the private ones.
4. Pisces. Pisces can be somewhat of a hermit, but they truly dream of the magic of romance. Making them feel safe and also giving them space to feel the full spectrum of emotions, make sure your gift is thoughtful and inspired. A book of their favorite poems, tickets to see their favorite musician, maybe a romantic weekend away somewhere with your own private hot tub for soaking. Make their gift deeply personal, nothing generic will do. When you sense they need some space, offer that space. Don’t push.
5. Libra. Librans are lovers of love and courtship. Go through the formal ritual of setting up a date and help them make the decisions of how a romantic evening will flow. Flowers are a love language for them. Keep it elegant and classy, nothing crass or low-class. They might love a double date with some friends, or even better, a small dinner party.
6. Gemini. At least one side of the Gemini personality is interested in romance, but they like to keep things light and flirtatious. Keep the conversation going, be witty, be interesting and give them plenty of space. They tend to like glamour, glitter and bright-shiny things, as well as things that stimulate their mind and many interests.
7. Scorpio. Scorpio is not necessarily a romantic; love for them is passion. They become deeply invested in the objects of their desire, and are not interested in weak expressions of emotion. Do not bother with rote box-check type gift-giving for capitalist holidays and instead demonstrate your love for them by showing them the depth of your eros and ardor.
8. Sagittarius. Sagittarius is pretty straightforward in all matters, and you typically know exactly where you stand with them in love. Typical expressions of romance might seem a bit too fake or false for them; they prefer straight-forward declarations of love and high-quality experiences and/or gifts to back that up. Don’t over plan, let them be impulsive and help them to fulfill their desire for your special time together.
9. Virgo. With a tendency to overthink and stay firmly on the practical side of things, romance for Virgo is more like “hey honey, I cleaned the oven and mowed the grass.” Demonstrate love for them through acts of service, being very well groomed; and, if going out on the town, by showing them a perfect night out. Don’t surprise them; ask them what they want.
10. Capricorn. Steady Capricorn is a bit more on the formal side. Romance for them is more about showing up on the regular and being dependable. Play by the rules and have impeccable manners. Don’t pressure them to take time off of work in order to have a romantic evening together. Plan ahead and think high-class events and sophisticated venues.
11. Aries. Aries is much more of a demonstrative type of love. Treat them to time together doing their favorite sport or activity, give them plenty of space to do their own thing. Love for them is often equated with physical connection; so, if you are in a relationship be sure to make time to bond with each other in the bedroom.
12. Aquarius. The most detached of the Zodiac signs, Aquarius is the opposite of romantic. With a tendency to keep relationships platonic, let them set the tone for your date. Keep plans loose and general, but follow through. Connect to their causes in order to find their passionate side; love and accept their quirks and think non-traditional date activities.
