Recommended Read: Beginner’s Guide to Meditation

As many of you know, I consider Goswami Kriyananda to be my primary teacher. Though I am formed through the wisdom and grace of many, he has truly been the bright light that I carry with me.

His Beginner’s Guide to Meditation is a slim volume of 12 chapters that I highly recommend you add to your esoteric studies library.

If you have any interest in true Meditation — and the Kriya Yoga methods in particular — this book is a wonderful launching point. Not only is it a practical manual full of techniques, it also distills the important reasons why we should not only want to meditate, but need to meditate.
