A Blue Moon month with two Full Moons in Saturn-ruled signs! Also, been banging on about this for several months, but the square between Pluto in Capricorn and the Nodes in Aries and Libra continues in full effect all month, especially for the first couple week.
Pluto Rx in Capricorn and Neptune Rx in Pisces stay in a sextile configuration all month; use this to become inspired to adapt to change.
August 1, Full Moon at 9° 16’ Aquarius at 2:32 pm. It squares Jupiter in Taurus, as Mars in Virgo trines Jupiter; it also features Mercury in Virgo opposes Saturn in Pisces. These stressors will make this Moon excellent for any releasing ritual, particularly speaking it out loud or taking actual actions to end something that has run it’s course. Watch the Mercury/Saturn; this can be an energy of arguments, a clash between head and heart. Find a balance between your mentality and your intuition.
August 2, Aqua Moon squares Uranus in Taurus and opposes Venus in Leo; positive expressions of detachment are key. Someone will not want to be ignored! Moon void from 5:15 pm to 11:05 pm EST.
August 3, Pisces Moon conjuncts Saturn which can bring some melancholy or heaviness; opposes Mercury in Virgo; blesses Jupiter in Taurus; opposes Mars in Virgo. Stay grounded. This is a lot of information for your emotional body.
August 4, Mercury enters the shadow of its Rx in Virgo; will cover from 8 degrees to 21 degrees; comes out of shadow September 29. Pisces Moon sextiles Uranus in Taurus; connects with Neptune; sextiles Pluto in Capricorn; voids from 9:21 pm to 11:19 pm EST. Very inspired; look for magic in nature, practical inspiration and synchronicities.
August 5, Aries Moon trines the Sun in Leo. Fortune favors the bold! Beautiful flow of fire energy to help you get things accomplished.
August 6, Sun in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus -- watch this for several days before and after. Don’t go to extremes! Watch finances. Aries Moon trines Venus in Leo, very sexy energy hums in the background.
August 7, Aries Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn which could bring impulsivity or power struggles; immediately voids from 12:13 am to 2:25 am and moves into Taurus; nice connection between the Taurus Moon and Saturn in Pisces which will help you to ground.
August 8, Crazy busy Moon in Taurus; trines Mercury and Mars both in Virgo; touches Jupiter; squares the Sun in Leo; touches Uranus and squares Venus in Leo. Wherever Taurus is for you, you need to stay grounded in order to take advantage of the insights that will flow.
August 9, Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. Keep an eye on this one, it is in play for a while, and amplified with Venus and the Sun so close together. This square stays “live” as Venus also will back into a square with Jupiter later in the month. Consider this square active through the end of the month. Really monitor your Venus Rx information and symbols to see what you are being shown. Could be dramatic changes in what you value, what you love, and what is important to you. Make sure it’s going to stick until October! Another big energy in play is a lovely Mercury in Virgo trine to Jupiter in Taurus. Make lists; be discerning; great opportunities will spring out of these shifts and changes. Taurus Moon trines Pluto in Cap which will help; squares Saturn in Pisces which actually is also a good thing, keeping it real.
August 10, Gemini Moon sends a nice energy to the Sun in Leo, but squares both Mercury and Mars in Virgo. Watch your mouth!
August 11, Gemini Moon sextiles Venus in Leo; squares Neptune in Pisces; could be very social, but buyer beware. Make sure you are seeing things clearly. Moon voids at 1:27 pm to 6:52 pm EST. August 11-14 Venus and the Sun very close together and sending trine energy to Chiron in Aries through the 16th; great potential for healing through allowing yourself to be seen, be creative, be loved.
August 12, Moon in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces; super intuitive. Then we start to pick up the Sun/Uranus square, so slow it down. This brings volatility, sudden events.
August 13, Sun and Venus meet in Leo; very yummy. Be creative, be seen, be loved, be beautiful! Cancer Moon blesses everything in Taurus and Virgo – Jupiter, Mercury, Mars and Uranus, really a nice day.
August 14, Cancer Moon trines Neptune in Pisces but then opposes Pluto in Capricorn which busts any romantic bubbles that aren’t based in reality; voids at 3:46 am until 6:36 am EST.
August 15, Sun in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus exact. Observe the symbols; where is the clash between those two areas of life in your chart? Leo Moon touches Venus and squares Jupiter in Taurus; be very careful with excess. Nodes (thankfully!) begin to pull away from the square to Pluto in Capricorn.
August 16, New Moon at 23° 17’ Leo at 5:38 am EST; the Moon immediately voids until 7:14 pm EST. That’s a LONG Moon void; do your rituals after that time. This Moon squares Uranus in Taurus which gives it a bit of a wild-card feel. There is also the nice flow of Mars in Virgo trine Uranus in Taurus which will lend some aid and stabilize the energy a bit. Be discerning, practical, grounded, creative, inspired. The Sun in Leo begins to pick up a lovely trine to the North Node, sextile to the South Node which brings in some future-oriented visions for you to consider. August 17, Virgo Moon across from Saturn in Pisces which can bring emotional heaviness. Mercury and Mars are getting very close to each other in Virgo and connecting beautifully with Uranus in Taurus which makes analysis, deep thinking and deep cleaning very productive. Venus in Leo is beginning to back into a square to Jupiter in Taurus, beware of excess.
August 18, Virgo Moon trines Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus; conjuncts Mercury and Mars. Good day for hard mental work, structure.
August 19, Virgo Moon across from Neptune in Pisces; trines Pluto in Capricorn can bring brilliant ideas from intuitive hits. Moon voids at 4:51 am until 7:53 am EST.
August 20, Libra Moon sextile Venus in Leo; very social. Mars in Virgo begins to oppose Neptune in Pisces now through August 27; watch being argumentative, boldly going in the wrong direction.
August 21, Libra Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn; sextiles Sun in Leo which will help the potential clashes. Beware passive aggressive behaviors. Moon void from 4:31 pm to 7:22 pm EST.
August 22, Venus in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus exact (again) until the 28th; even though it’s a square, a meeting of these two planets tends to bring benefits and blessings. Just don’t go to excess and don’t forget Venus is RX! Mars in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces precisely; find a balance between inspiration and action; between reality and perfection. Pluto in Cap begins to trine Mars in Virgo which will really help you to see what last bits need to be wrapped up in the Capricorn area of life that have been destroyed by Pluto’s long transit here.
August 23, Sun into Virgo; Happy Solar Return my darling Virgos! Activates this area of life in your chart; be more discerning but watch being extra judgy or hypercritical. Remember it went into shadow on August 4, and will stay in its post shadow until September 29. So be careful. August 24, Mars in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn; this is fantastic. Execute your plans; build things; be discerning and wise. Easier to get authority figures to help you out. Scorpio Moon sextiles Mars, Pluto which lends even more support; squares the Moon and Saturn so just watch hypersensitivity or revenge fantasies. Moon voids from 1:10 am to 4:07 am EST.
August 25, Sagittarius Moon trines Venus in Leo; squares Mercury in Virgo; really watch your mouth.
August 26, Sagg Moon squares Neptune and Mars; again, watch any rash decisions, impulses and your mouth. Moon voids from 7:56 am to 9:05 am EST; shifts into Capricorn and trines Sun in Virgo and sextiles Saturn in Pisces, both very positive.
August 27, Mars into Libra where he doesn’t really like to be. High vibe with positive partnerships and collaborations. Beware passive aggressive behavior and indecisiveness. Sun in Virgo opposes Saturn in Pisces which can feel cold, harsh. Find a balance between discerning and inspired. Capricorn Moon trines Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus and Mercury in Virgo, being grounded helps, being disciplined helps.

August 30, Full Moon at 7° 25’ Pisces at 9:36 pm right after conjuncting Saturn which makes this Moon pretty serious. There are lots of lingering difficult energies about here, be very cautious with this Moon. Best for dedicated spiritual work, honor tradition.
August 31, Pisces Moon sextiles Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus; opposes Mercury in Virgo; strike that balance between heart and head; intuition can be found in nature!
